What this is

A two-report HVAC bid comparison service for owners, property managers, HOA boards, building managers, and commercial clients who need uneven contractor proposals made easier to compare before award.

One report to find the gaps.
One set of bidder-specific questions.
One follow-up report after contractors respond.

What this is not

Not software.
Not a subscription.
Not engineering design, legal advice, code certification, or an award recommendation.

CompareBidsPro does not pick the winning contractor. The service helps you see the differences, unclear items, responsibility shifts, and questions that matter before a decision is made.

What’s included

Review of up to 6 bidder proposals.
Review of the owner request, RFP, RFQ, scope sheet, or specification document if available.
Request-to-response analysis.
Bid comparison summary.
Math / pricing integrity check when visible.
Key risk flags.
Bidder-specific questions to send back to contractors before award.
One included Follow-Up Comparison Report after contractors respond.

Report 1: Initial Comparison Report

The Initial Comparison Report shows what each bidder included, excluded, left unclear, priced differently, or shifted back to the owner.

It also includes plain-English questions for each bidder based on that bidder’s proposal. You do not have to read the report and create the questions yourself.

Report 2: Follow-Up Comparison Report

After contractors respond to the questions raised in the Initial Comparison Report, you may submit their responses for one included Follow-Up Comparison Report.

The follow-up report applies the same review framework used in the original report so you can see what changed, what was clarified, and what remains unclear.

Contractor response window

You have 30 days from delivery of the Initial Comparison Report to submit contractor responses for the included follow-up report.

You do not have to wait the full 30 days. If all contractor responses come back in four days, you can submit them immediately.

Please submit all contractor responses together as one response package when you are ready for the Follow-Up Comparison Report.

Pricing

Standard Two-Report HVAC Bid Comparison: $895 one-time.
Rush Two-Report HVAC Bid Comparison: $1,295 one-time.

Both options include the Initial Comparison Report, bidder-specific questions, and one Follow-Up Comparison Report after contractor responses are submitted within 30 days.

Turnaround

Standard turnaround: 2 business days after complete and usable files are received.
Rush turnaround: next business day after complete and usable files are received.

Turnaround applies after the relevant package is complete and usable. Incomplete, partial, unreadable, or unusable file sets may delay turnaround.

What happens after payment

After payment, we’ll send:
Your private upload link.
The upload password.
Instructions for submitting your original bid package.

Please upload one complete PDF per bidder whenever possible, plus the owner request or scope document if available. PDF format is strongly preferred and helps avoid delays caused by missing pages or mixed file types.

What happens after the first report

Use the bidder-specific questions in the Initial Comparison Report to request clarification from the contractors.

When the contractor responses are ready, submit all responses together as one response package within 30 days. CompareBidsPro will then prepare the included Follow-Up Comparison Report.

Scope limits

The included Follow-Up Comparison Report applies to the same project, same bidders, and same base scope reviewed in the Initial Comparison Report.

New bidders, major scope changes, substantially revised bid packages, multi-building packages, or unusually complex submissions may require separate pricing before review.
